Hi
Im Daniel Raithby from Milton, Ontario, Canada.
Have been into port for about 6 months.

Find the biggest challenge is finding aource of good and varied ports. Here we only have the LCBO, govnt monopoly, and although good would like more sources.

Hi Daniel,
It's good to see you here. We have a few members from Canada and the US who may be able to advise you on good sources.
I hope you have fun discovering the world of port.
Don't be afraid to ask questions or tell us your thoughts on the ports you drink. We don't bite here

Nice to see you here Daniel. It's something we hear a lot about Canada is the problems getting wines at good prices. Bman, Todd and Luc will be able to point you in the right directions but they will probably know the same dead-ends.
Have fun here,

Nice to welcome someone relatively new to port. Like you, I've only just discovered port, and yes, the learning curve can be slow at times, but rewarding nevertheless... Hopefully, this forum will add something to your port experience!

Interestingly, the last time I was in montreal and crossed back to the US, I made out like a bandit at the duty free. In particular, i got some Infantado 97 for a pittance, and I think a dow or two. You might want to keep an eye out for that opportunity, should you be in the vicinity of the border.draithby wrote: Find the biggest challenge is finding aource of good and varied ports.
