This was a very interesting opportunity to try the Graham 1994 Vintage Port against the Graham 1994 Single Harvest Tawny Port (the latter of which has only 60 cases left in stock). This bottle was filled in 2020 and was a golden red colour, 50% opaque. A touch of vinagrinho on the nose, rich with toffee and orange oil. Smooth and balanced on the palate with baked orange and a little toffee on the palate, balanced nicely with a touch of dryness. Smooth orange caramel finish. A lovely round and satisfying wine. 91/100. Tasted 02-Nov-21. Decanted 1½ hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
