Sourced via Vintage Wine & Port from a Norfolk cellar which had a collection of wonderful quality Vintage Port. Very dark in colour, a delicious mature red; 70% opaque. A wonderful nose, full of fruit; really youthful, stuffed with redcurrant jelly - just so youthful on the palate! Rich redcurrant, with an incredible balance. So typical of the style of Warre, with that wonderful elegance combined with delightful spiced fruit all leading to a long fruit finish. This truly is an amazing bottle of a wonderful wine. Fabulous! My wine of the first flight. 95/100. Tasted 13-Jun-23.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
