1994 Warre

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Mature brick red, 80% opaque. Warm baked red fruit on the nose, like a fruit pie fresh out of the oven. A flash of red peach on the palate before a delicious fresh fruit envelopes the senses. Mouth-filling, balanced with Warre elegance. Delicious perfumed finish. A wonderful bottle of this lovely wine. 94/100. Drunk 21-Feb-23. Decanted 4 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
