Orange and coffee on nose and palate. Not wonderful but more than merely drinkable with pleasure.

Very pale orange colour, no more than 10% opaque. Despite the appearance, this was drinkable although probably light-damaged. A little orange peel on the nose; sweet and sugary palate with some apricot jam and a little coffee on the late palate. A nice red peppercorn on the aftertaste before a coffee and butterscotch finish of good length. Not the way the wine should be showing, but a pleasant tawny version. 81/100. Decanted 9 hours.
