NV Quevedo White Reserve Lagrima

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Quevedo NV Lágrima, bottled in 2023 in 10cl format for the 2023 advent calendar. A rich golden colour, 20% opaque. A little dried mango on the nose. Sweet on the palate, generous amounts of canned mango and lychee in light syrup - rather pleasant, despite the sweetness. A little minerality giving a metallic tone to the mango and syrup on the aftertaste, but then a long finish of dried mango. Really rather nice if you have a sweet tooth.  88/100. Opened 06-Jan-24. Decanted ½ hour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
