1955 Graham

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A mature burnished copper colour, 40% opaque. A glorious mature nose. The palate brings sweet fruit, beautifully spiced through decades of slumber - dried red fruit, citrus zest and delicious Christmas spices. Lingering sweet dried raspberry and All Spice on the aftertaste and finish. A phenomenal Vintage Port. Served blind, this was guessed to be Dow 1945. 96/100. 28-Dec-23.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
