Blenheim Palace 1970 Vintage Ports

Post by nac »

Just before Christmas last year, Corney & Barrow made an offer of stock (including quite a lot of Vintage Port) from the cellars of Blenheim Place.

The Ports had been purchased on release and cellared, undisturbed, since delivery in the early 1970s.

I reserved most of the 1970 VPs (about 100 bottles) and the majority have now been passed on to other Port Forum members.

A tasting note for the Warre 1970 can be found here.

A few bottles remain and are available for purchase.

The bottles are still with Corney & Barrow, and the prices stated below include UK delivery, and these are being sold on at cost. Note that they have been repacked into 6 bottle OCCs.

What's available?

- 1 x 6 bottle case, comprising 4 x Cockburn 1970 and 2 x Warre 1970 @ £558
- 2 x 6 bottle cases, each comprising 5 x Cockburn 1970 and 1 x Warre 1970 @ £588 per case

If you're interested in these please email me at neil@colman.co.uk or DM on here.
