Mature brick red colour, attractive spiced fruit nose. Lovely mature fruit on the palate, followed by a wave of tannins. The complexity of the mature wine is just starting to develop. A wonderful aftertaste is followed by a long fruit and menthol finish. 92/100. Tasted 18-Feb-2025.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
