Mahogany rather than red.
Lots of vinaigrinho on the nose but that diminishes.
The palate is a fully resolved caramel and marmalade and chopped nut melange.
Finish is very long indeed.
This is really rather good, close to equalling anything else in the Colheita line from that era. What it lacks in the absolute intensity some others have it makes up for by the exquisite acid balance.
