1970 Krohn

Krohn 1970. Tasted 19-Feb-2025. Very pale burnt ochre colour, 10% opaque. Light and elegant jellied fuit on the nose. Light bodied initially when first sipped but puts on good weight with time on the palate. Spicy with a little red peppercorn on the late palate and aftertaste. Lingering sticky jelly finish. 85/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
