TPF 2008 Offline Summary

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

I thought that it might be of use to have a summary or index to past offlines and possible future offlines being organised through or attended by posters on TPF. With a single summary list it should be easier for people to see quickly whether there is an offline coming up that they would like to attend.

All offlines on the list are set out with the following information:

Sat 19th Jan (Craster, Northern England) 1985 Horizontal (The "Up North" offline)
Mon 28th Jan (London) 1966 Horizontal (The "Deeper Underground" offline)
Wed 30th Jan (London) Blind Tasting (Tsunami's visit to the UK)
Sat 2nd Feb (Sussex) 1963 Horizontal
Sat 9th Feb (Boston) Croft Vertical 1970 - 1896

Alex,

I have not come across a way of creating a table using BB code - perhaps Jdaw knows?

I have turned this thread into a Sticky so that it stays at the top of the forum.

I thought it might be useful to let everyone know that I am keeping this summary up to date, although not posting here when I do make an edit to the original summary.

I did originally reply to JDAW to ask if he could do a mock up so that I could see what the improvement would look like.

Then others came along with better ideas and drove my request down the list of priorities...

Alex, is the 08th of October confirmed. I would like to hop in although the eldest Cockburn I own is a 70 and I do not own a single 08.

I would rather go for a Cockburn-Vertical. Should I try to get a 77?

When will you decide?

At my father’s is a “Believed Cockburn 1924†, bought last year as part of a mixed lot. If you (or others) want to acquire this for the C vertical, it’s available. (But speak soon: AHB is soon going to my father’s to collect bottles.)

I will try then. But I let AHB get to your father in the good hope that I will get a sip of it, too.

Are you sure that you wont be there?

I have a Cockburns 63, which although not amazing or mythical, should be worthy of a seat at the table???

I'm also beginning to think my Late Summer Bash's theme should lean towards 'Lifes a Beach' (Just Sandemans) or 'Life begins at 60' (Only 60's allowed)
So I can ignore the Sandeman 60 I keep eyeing up, and leave it alone until then, whilst looking for more bottles.

AHB,

Can you please add The 1970 Horizontal to your summary.

Thanks
