2003 Taylor

Post by DRT »

Tasted at Quinta de Vargellas on Friday 19th Sep 08 with Frederick Blais.

Closed nose. A huge thick and chewy beast of a wine in the mouth with masses of fruit and a huge long very dry finish. Fabulous juice.

hey can you describe the spirits in this? Was it hotter then expected, or as expected?

I can't remember any spirit being particularly evident at any stage with this one. Given that I didn't mention it in my notes and I always expect a little warmth in a Taylor I assume i was as expected.

Fred also took notes so perhaps his will reveal something?
