1991 Morgan

Post by DRT »

The umpteenth bottle has now been popped.

But it is badly tainted by VA

Has anyone else experienced this with an M91?

Driving round the countryside, delivering fireworks (as one does at this time of year..) it occurred to me today that I've not heard of a single duff bottle from this stash..

..I come in, make a cup of tea, and what do I find on the 'puter..

I've only drunk 12 of these, but none have been bad bottles. I also had a quick look through my notes and can say that out of 25 bottles drunk, I have never had a bad bottle of Morgan port from any of the vintages I have tried. An impressive record for a lower profile house.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
