From a half case bought for a modest £18.15/bottle last year.
On first decanting a clear pale colour that quickly darkened to a very attractive rose hue. First sip had a very clinical nose however.
Decanter was kept at about 10C
D + 24 Reminds me very much of a Gould Campbell '77 - both in colour and that slightly odd nose, but a decent wine from a shipper that has little reputation.
D + 48 Darker, thicker, better - the odd nose now replaced with something much more agreeable.
D + 72 Bit nutty now - is it getting a bit tired?
D + 96 This is really very good now - it just keeps getting darker and darker - but sadly little left now..
Scored 6-5 after 72 hours - maybe I was ungenerous..
Excellent value!
