As a thing for the new year and a track of different types of wines that frequently get spoilt I suggest that we have threads both here and in Port Conversations of all bad bottles. First up was a bottle of pink stuff - not too much of a problem you may think but it was a Sancerre Rose, heavily corked and stank the place out, will name and shame it later:

A nice and affordable bubbly, available here, is Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel. But the current vintage (2006) is horribly inconsistent. Due to various celebrations I've tasted quite a few bottles recently. The number of corked, or otherwise flawed bottles was alarming.
