Dark colour, with only a hint of age showing on the rim. Warm nose, with some blackberry jam, fresh oranges, and a lovely combination of dried Douro flowers and herbs. A very nice, full mouthfeel. Young, dark fruit and a typical sensation of walking through a port cellar / lagare. Not in a musty way, but a lovely warm feel. Spicy, peppery finish, with drying tannins. This youngster could do with some more cellaring, but is also great now. 91 points
TN made right after opening on March 23. Bottle kept in the fridge afterwards, and keeping very well.
