Dow 1970 - check. Now I feel silly making it one of the unannounced acquisitions on the "recent purchases" thread.
Let's see, to be specific I have 70, 77, 97, 2000, 2003 to make available, with the 70 specifically purchased for this tasting. (i've only one 94 and I'm holding onto it til it grows up). I've also a bomfim 95, if we care.
Dow put out a VP in...
60, (62?), 63, 66, 70, 72, 75, 77, 79, 80, 83, 85, 86, 91, 94, 95, 97, 2000, 2003 and... 2007
I think they put out even more SQVPs.
Even if we go for pre-90's wines, we're at 12 wines if were completist. If, instead, we want only GOOD years of Dow, well, that's a different story!

I believe we can get a fair tasting of
50 (I'm looking for this one), 55, 60, 63, 66, 70, 75, 77, 80, 83, 85, 86(?? you sure?) and maybe a 07 for kicks?
that would make 12 bottles not including the 86 and would go back nearly 50 years of dow.

Dow has declared 1943, 1944, 1945, 1947, 1948, 1950, 1952, 1954, 1955, 1958, 1960, 1962, 1963, 1966, 1970, 1972, 1975, 1977, 1980, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2007
Thank you—I’m not disagreeing. Do you have a source for this list?uncle tom wrote:My vintage list of full Dow blends over the same period runs:
