English bottled, one of three bottles bought at the beginning of last year. This one was ullaged to VTS and began to show signs of seepage.
Decanted extremely cleanly, with all but a couple of flakes of sediment remaining in the bottle.
Very dark (and getting darker) in the decanter, but alas it was also slightly corked.
Despite the bad nose, it was an acceptable quaff, and impressively dark and rich. The wine does not look its age.
A sound bottle should be glorious.
