Tasted as part of DRT's Review of 2007 Cask Samples

Each of the paragraphs below are separate notes taken completely blind over a period of a few days:

Muted fruit nose. Nice thick, soft entry with a burst of strawberry. No big tannins or acidity. Quite elegant with a mouthwatering finish in the cheeks and dry on the tongue and lips.

Nose opening up with plums and a little chocolate. Lovely cherry truffle entry. Thick and uncsious and now showing a much heavier structure with good acidity, bold tannins and a long fruity but dry finish. I'm thinking this is Graham's.

Beautiful fruity nose of plums and blackcurrant. Thick and smooth entry. Quite soft in the mid palate. Much the same as last night.

Lovely fruity nose. Seems to get thicker every day. Big fruit burst and a mouthwatering finish. A geat wine that has not changed much in 3 days apart from becoming more drinkable.

A delicious wine. Big and bold fruit and weight but seems to lack the big tannic structure for a seriously long life. Or is it just that this is the most balanced of the bunch? Who knows!

Beautiful blackcurrant nose that is very soft and refined. Thick, chewy, cherry truffle. Everything is big but nothing harsh. Very dry finish but cheeks running with sweet black fruits. Very, very smooth and delicious.
