Deep honey colour, with a hint of ruby at the core. Nose full of floral perfume and gently honeyed fruit. Smooth and sweet in the mouth with more of the honeyed fruit and delicious levels of complexity. A massive aftertaste, full of tannic chocolate and creamy strawberry yoghurt. 98/100. Drunk 29 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
