2005 Pintas vintage port
Crushed green leaves on the nose, together with plenty of super-ripe grapes. Very soft and fruit forward; tannins are soft but structural and acidity levels are high. The finish is firm and long and dominated by the chcoclate from the tannins but with a nice cherry tone. 87-89. Drunk 27 June 2009.
