2007 Quevedo vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

5,000 bottles produced, selling at EUR 20 ex-cellars. Deep red, opaque centre and a violet rim. Young and tanky on the nose. Silky structure with lovely fruit. Big tannins, but with great fruit to balance out the tannins and soft acidity. Super aftertaste, very big and very attractive. Really good wine. 92-94. Drunk 26 June 2009.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
