1983 Offley Boa Vista
Decanted for sharing with a like minded friend tonight. Decanted at 11.30am. This is a dark red colour with lots of fruit evident on the nose. The cork came out cleanly - always a nice surprise when so many seem to break in half.
The sediment was quite fine, but an hours standing seems to have given a clean decant.
More to follow tonight!

Agreed!DRT wrote:OBV83 is yummy juice
Liquorice was the general consensus, followed by an effect from the tannins similar to that produced by a Dyson airblade hand drier - not that i have tried that on my gums!
One glass remains for tonight to test whether longer than 12 hours decant times are required.

Even better after 36 hours. It just tastes better integrated as a drink.
