NV Taylor Tawny 10YO

Post by KillerB »

Opened on Saturday night and causing an incident with a 660ml botle of Moretti, but that's just a diversion.

Pretty red for a tawny, but very tawny in style. Didn't chill it so this was at a reasonable temperature but not too warm either. Nose was a bit muted and couldn't really get much apart from 'probably Port'. Mouth was very chocolatey without much fruit nor much else to be honest, so I had it with some chocolates. Nice mouthfeel, went well with the chocolates, not so good with swiss cheeses. Ermmm... that's it, it's OK, but probably a bit bland.
Port is basically a red drink
