Kopke. Deep red in colour, clear centre and with a pale orange rim. Slightly stinky nose, with the bottle stink dominating other smells. Sweet in the mouth, but the bottle stink flavours show through the soft and well integrated fruit. Quiet a heavy weight to the body of this port, showing a strong mid-palate with plenty of sweet and complex development. Delightful. Slight heat on the aftertaste, but long and lingering with sweet fruit all over the finish. 91/100. Drunk 26 August 2009.

Lovely colour, glorious red and mid-translucency. Nose a little stinky. To taste lovely red fruit strawberry, and unctuous.
