Re: DRT Bottle 1, 26th Aug 09
Pale rose colour with a mature pink rim. Spicy and herbal nose, full of rosemary and damsons. Sweet damsons and white cherries on entry. The flavours are full of fruit but lack some complexity. Patience does allow some development to appear. Medium in weight. A hot burst of swallowing and then slowly a big aftertaste develops, huge and mouthfilling. A surprisingly big finish. 90/100. Drunk 26 August 2009.

Re: 1975 Croft
Heat preceded by unctuous sugar. Lovely rolling sugar.
I was very surprised when this was revealed to be a 1975.
