A sound bottle, decanted 13/9/09.
A rather underwhelming wine at first - reasonably approachable upon decanting, with little initial evolution - nose rather bland, moderately light, fully mature, typical '70. Good but not great, bit of a yawn case..
In fact, after quaffing half the decanter over the first and second day, I was distracted by beer and claret for a couple of days.
Returning at around D + 96 I found a vastly superior nose and great integration - a real pleasure to quaff to extinction.
Score 7-6 - but don't be in a hurry..
