Tasted within the Niepoort Range on Nov 27th with Dirk Niepoort:
"Tastes like the 2003 Noval was heard more than one time this evening", which definitely is a compliment.
Strong, black colour with still some violett reflections. Strong, extremely fruity nose with tons of blackberry and some raspberry. Palate showes a lot of fruit as well, but not as much as the nose promises. Very good tannic and acidity structure.
Good lenght in the aftertaste.
Begins to close down.

Nose: very fruity
Taste: a heavy fruity taste.
I would not compare it to the noval 03 because the noval has more wild fruit and the niepoort has a more tanninic fruit
