2000 Graham's Vintage Port

Post by RonnieRoots »

Tasted during a wonderful tasting, hosted and prepared by Gustavo, in the Graham's lodge (26/11/2009)

I expected this to be closed, but was wrong. It showed beautifully. Very young of course, with primary, dark fruit. Very round, with a satin-like structure. A beautiful array of flowery aromas almost remind me of the Fonseca of the same year. This will of course be much better after considerable time in the cellar, but judging by its showing today I would be tempted to open another bottle soon. A good thing I am separated from my bottles by a couple of thousand kilometres.
