This was a very dark red colour that belied its age. In a blind tasting this would not be identified as 1970 by many people. Initially it had a very spirity nose and taste, but this softened with time in the glass. A very enjoyable port.

Corney&Barrow bottleing bought from Corney &Barrow; very deep colour, dense, rich on the palate, nice little hints of this typical orange touch Croft has. Very youthful appearance and very long. Also improved steadily until the bt was unfortunately empty :(
