Tasted Feb 5th: A perfect bottle of Warre VP 1970 can always save the day - pretty much every day. Cherry-red colour which darkened considerably since breathing. Strong and outstandingly complex nose with young and fresh plums, blackberries and a remarkeably depth. Palate showes up slight tannic structure, lots and lots of fruits (mostly plums and blackberries) and again this outstandingly deep complexity. Long and very pleasant aftertaste.
I love this Port 19

Alright, homey -- just bought the last two loose bottles of this at Seckford (45per, DP, excl. VAT) on the strength of your note.
Fingers crossed.
