1983 Offley Boa Vista
Decanted 6pm. Beautiful dark red colour with lost of fruit on the nose. Not much sediment, but what there was took the form of large flakes. The cork came out in one piece which made life easy!
Thanks go to Uncle Tom for supplying this bottle!
More later, when Edward has been put to bed!

Re: 1983 Offley Boa Vista
Edward asleep. More now. (In both senses!)
Not much on the nose - slight hint of pear drops but nothing much more. To taste this has more noticeable fruits, with some tannins but not a monster. The finish is not huge, but pleasant. It is a lovely wine for drinking now and I would drink lots more of it if I had lots more of it!
