Colheita 1987 - £30.98 Each
Colheita 1983 - £35.75 Each. 1983 is amongst the best Port vintages of the previous century, with outstanding, powerful wines, but unjustly overshadowed by the 1985s and the 1977's before them. The delicate, nutty flavours in this wine make it a perfect dessert wine for springtime, where a richer, heavier Vintage Port is more suitable for cold winter evenings.
Colheita 1982 - £38.06 Each. 1982 was a relatively dry year with a very cold winter and warm summer. Budbreak hit earlier than usual, providing lower yields for a small, but delicious Port. These gems are known to take on the mahogany colour of old Tawnies with age, along with a complex bouquet, nutty palate and silky texture.
Quinta do Retiro Novo Vintage 2000 - £45.55 EACH – The Quinta do Retiro Novo 2000 is immense, dense and powerful with evident tannic structure, spicy red fruit and great power on the palate and finish. Super ripe, forward style for the long term.
Colheita 1978 - £48.81 Each. Good flavour of raisins and nuts with hints of toffee, lighter than expected body.
Colheita 1976 - £55.21 Each. Dark in colour with light aromas and light flavours, hints of brown sugar. Sweet with warmth from the alcohol. Notes of hazelnuts and toffee, with a rounded tawny taste.
Colheita Branco 1964 - £66.82 Very pale orange with a slight reddish hints. Honeysuckle aromas with nuts, apricot and orange blossoms. The palate is thick and fills the mouth with apricot, walnuts, cedar, honey, caramel and a touch of residual sugar showing. Very balanced and complex, with a very long finish. Benefits greatly from a long breathing period.
Colheita 1968 - £90.74 Each. Charming complex wine, with a citrus/orange lift and toffeed low notes, the lovely sweetness is countered by good acidity and oxidative notes. This is an exciting wine because of all the component sensations which provide a very pleasing whole.
Colheita 1967 - £96.59 Each – A deliciously sweet, nutty, wine brimming with freshly cracked walnuts and pecans, the fruit being reminiscent of caramelised figs, and layers of woody, brown spices. All flavours are in total harmony, the sweetness perfectly balanced with good acidity, for a long lasting finish.
Colheita 1966 - £102.85 Each
Colheita 1961 - £134.36. Very dark in colour, intense aroma, with coffee, chocolate and raisins, and an immense structure and powerful finish. Fat and full on the palate, with notes of dried fruit.
Vintage 1970 - £159.49 EACH – A classic Vintage year, with great balance, good structure, and long-lived. One of the absolute finest Vintage Ports of the last 50 years. This is classic port still on a seemingly limitless plateau of maturity and elegant style.
Vintage 1967 - £189.85 EACH
Vintage 1965 - £213.93 EACH
Vintage 1963 - £250.58 EACH
Vintage 1960 - £288.27 EACH
Vintage 1958 - £325.96 EACH
Reserva 1901 - £923.82 EACH
QUEVEDO ________________________________________________________________Late bottled Vintage 2003 - £9.76 EACH – Produced exclusively from the harvest of 2003; LBV Port is ready for enjoying. It will however continue to age in the bottle for many years. Its present shade of deep ruby will give rise to a lighter ruby, similar to that of pomegranate.
Colheita 1994 - £16 E.12 EACH – RECOMENDED, 1994 was one of the best vintage years of the 20th century. This Colheita was made with grapes of Quevedo's main vineyard, the Quinta Vale d’Agodinho and it is aged in oak barrels for 16 years.
Colheita Port 1992 - £16.12 EACH – This Colheita was made with grapes of Quevedo's main vineyard, the Quinta Vale d’Agodinho and it is aged in oak barrels for 17 years.
Vintage 2005 - £27.15 EACH – Produced exclusively from the harvest of 2005, Vintage Port progesses gradually for 10 to 50 years in the bottle. Vintage Port charms in almost all stages of its life in the bottle. Deep ruby in the first 5 years, after 10 years the tones become garnet and attain a plenitude of aromas and flavours of ripe fruit and the same time as creating a light sediment. As the wine matures, its colour turns to a rich golden brown and its fruit acquires a greater subtlety and complexity.
QUINTA do PORTAL _______________________________________________________Vintage 2003 - £34.16 EACH – This is a big and balanced full-bodied beauty with a soft approach and sweet ripe plum and chewy blueberry fruit, with lots of acidity. It’s an easy-to-enjoy wine and all of a sudden waves of palate crushing tannins roll in and take over, followed by an exceptionally long finish.
QUINTA da LEVANDEIRA __________________________________________________Quinta da Levandeira, "DR" LBV Port 2000 - £14.42 EACH – After grapes are carefully chosen and harvested they are then gently pressed. Fermented in vats at a constant temperature of 22ºC before addition of spirit. Aged both in barrel and bottle.
