BI63: oh dear. DRT says ‟that’s it”.

I disagree: more detail is appropriate. The colour is very translucent orange. You might think, were you of such a cynical inclination, that this port was over the hill. Well, almost. Its senile mind can’t even remember whether there was a hill, let alone whether it is or isn’t over it. Nose is of sugar and thin citrus, with a hint of vanilla. Taste not so good. Quite strong, initially with an ‘off’ note, then long tolerable marmalade. It cost me nothing (‟unknown vintage port”, part of a mixed case), and that was the right price.

Put in the cellar for AHB to taste at lunch tomorrow.
