Quite dark. Rounded and elegant. Excellent wine from a rarely encountered shipper.

GC70, bottled by Tanners: darkest wine on the mat. Nose had a little heat, but was quite closed. (Had this been recently decanted: I failed to take note.) To taste hot, cloying red fruit, good length.

Coming in second place -- I thought this showed very well. A bit of heat throughout, and just a tiddy tad off balance / unresolved, but still very good and well made. Classy stuff. 90+ pts
