Simple with a lot of icing-sugar sweetness (which probably should have given it away as a Graham’s). A very nice Port but perhaps not as complex and interesting as the Dow 1977 tasted alongside.

G77: red-tinged with brown, about mid-translucency. To taste lots of heat, with strawberry and cherry. I mis-guessed a Warre.

This was fine. A bit lacking in pleasure, but wasn't bad per se, just a bit dissapointing. A bit simple, a bit light, a bit firey, but without the concentration and richness to balance out.
