Deep red colour, right into the rim. Marmite on the nose; raisins and rubber. Soft tannins in the mouth, restraied fruit showing some of the beef stock of heat. Good levels of fruit and plenty of interest. Sweet and fruity aftertaste; quite big and with good length. Needs at least another 10 years. 91/100. Drunk 26 May 2010 after 24 hours decanting.
