The first of the bottle-stinkers, and very niticeable but not as bad as the 1995. Could still get some fruit and some chocolate. Dry alcoholic finish. A good one is probably very good.
Port is basically a red drink

Fifth flight, served alongside the Fonseca 1985.

What a stinker. Very dominant aromas of cooked vegetables on the nose. Not extremely pleasant to taste either. Funky, off-tasting, weird. Bitter finish. Not liked, and not rated.

A huge disappointment, because I've had several beautiful bottles before.
