Harsh but with good fruit. Plenty of tannin and acid, will soften with age but I suspect that the acidity will overwhelm the fruit. Will get better and a better bottle than F-Plan I.
Port is basically a red drink

Seventh flight, served alongside Fonseca 1994.

Totally closed on the nose, and not very giving on the palate either. It seems to be lacking in body a bit, and the fruit comes across as a bit stewed. There are some good flavours, some complexity, but it doesn't convince. Maybe it will come out of its winter sleep one day, maybe not. I had a hard time figuring this port out. 87 points at this stage.
