1968 Quinta do Noval Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Ex-cellars. Rich orange colour, 20% opaque. Huge nose full of typical colheita combination of oranges and honey. Massively thick texture; big lemon acidity cutting through the sweet honey and tangerines. Massive aftertaste, unbelievable finish. This is an astonishing wine, truly incredible. 95/100. Drunk 27 September 2010.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
