Decanted around 5.30pm. 3.5 hours later...

A dark red / brown colour. Little translucency, even at the edges. Reasonable nose to it - more fruit than alcohol, which given my nose is saying something. To taste, there is initial sweetness (brown sugar), followed by something fruity, then a little tannin and ending with some alcohol. Perfectlt pleasant but probably on a gentle downward slope.

Were I to venture a score, it would be a 6 for current enjoyment and a 5 for future potential.
