Vintage Oddities at 30: NYC Nov 14 2010
Tasting Review
1975 Ferreira Vintage Port
1983 Niepoort Vintage Port
1984 Dow's Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port
Organization
Placemats

When: November 14, 2010
Where: Beacon Restaurant, 25 West 56th Street, New York, NY 10019.
Attendees (5): SushiNorth, g-man+1, dolcetours+1

We just wrapped up a lovely tasting, it was good to meet dolcetours and her husband, and share our common interests in wine. The restaurant also made for a good venue; it was very accommodating, the reasonably priced food was both very tasty and a good compliment for port, they have plenty of space enabling us to stay for hours, and the corkage is waived for sunday dinners. More soon.

That sounds like the perfect venue!
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Jeff: please look in the manual at GlassesOnSheets and GlassesOnTastingNotePages.

Let’s assume you have four ‘wines’ defined, water being the first of these (so item 0). Then

Code: Select all

/GlassesOnSheets [ [0 1 2 3] ] def
/GlassesOnTastingNotePages [ [1 2 3] ] def
will include the water on the glasses sheets, but not on the TN sheets.
