1970 Niepoort Vintage Port (Tall), 50% opaque, glorious red. Nosing of mostly plum, a hint of vanilla, and also cherry. Rich oleaginous mouth-filling huge super-long. Fantastic. Apparently, atypical. Later, it lessened.

My experience so far was, that the pota bottles (I just learned that this is the portuguese word for dumpy) are better than the straight, but these straight bottles (70+60) were kept very cold for decades.

Very young and with lots of fruit.
