2005 Graham's LBV

Post by DRT »

A glass from the bar at The Troutbeck Inn in the Lake District on Friday, 4th March 2011.

£4.60 for 100ml.

Nose of red fruits and vanilla. A nice thick texture, quite heavy, greener and much more tannic than I would expect a Graham's LBV to be. Nice concentrated fruit, quite dry in the mid-palate and into the finish.

This feels much more like an unfiltered LBV than previous Graham's I have had.

Good stuff, given some time.
