Re: 1961 Fonseca Guimaraens
FG61. Red, slight hint of brown, 50% opaque. Subdued nose. To taste heat. Tobacco early palate, then red-fruited sweetness to the end. Mid- to light-weight.

Re: 1961 Fonseca Guimaraens
An attractive burnt red; 50% opaque. Fresh minty nose, with a concentrated prune underneath the mint. Concentrated in the mouth, gentle coffee at the front with real concentration. Lovely medium-bodied presence with really big flavours. The aftertaste takes a while to develop and is low key black Bertie Bassett sweets. Amazingly concentrated palate. 89/100.
