F66. Wonderful dark red, 70% opaque. But the taste all wrong: dry early, slightly rough. Not up to the standards of Fonseca 1966. :-(

15,800 cases released. (From the case purchased at Straker Chadwick and shared between AHB, DRT and THRA.) Warm, red colour showing brick red maturity. 60% opaque. Gentle nose of spiced mulberry; a touch stewed on the palate, fruity and attractive, with very soft tannin and strong acidity. Big and lively aftertaste, that lasts a long time and is very impressive. Fabulous port. 93/100. Drunk from a sample bottle 15 days after the tasting.
Top Port in 2017 (so far): Taylor 2010 LBV
2016 Port of the year: Cockburn 1908
