1994 Quevedo Colheita

1994 Quevedo Colheita (Barrel)
This shows no signs of age at all.

Impressive purplish red with no signs of bricking.

Loads of honeyed dates and prunes on the nose.

A medium to full bodied wine that still shows it's tannic legs. No signs of age at all, still showing some young purple fruit that envelopes the palate. The allspice adds to the wines richness of fruit leading to a long finish of sillky tannins, cocoa powder and dark licorice.

A very impressive effort.
