The color of this wine was a nice pale tawny. The nose had a nice mix of nuts and red fruits that was very attractive. The palate was a bit one dimensional with the nutty flavor of walnuts and pecans, although the the wine was still overwhelmed by the spirit. Over the course of 72 hours the flavor profile did not change and the spirit dominated the palate. The finish was moderately long and enjoyable, although the spirit does still get in the way. 84 points.
