1985 Andresen

Post by Axel P »

Well Andresen is definitely more famous for their Colheitas, which are really, really good. I just bought some cases of their 92, which is an amazing value for money, but their Vintage Ports, though produced in tiny quantities are and were very good as well:

This 85 shows a fresh strong red color. Very floral in the nose with spices and mint notes, quite complex. Multi layered palate with chocolate, raspberries, minty notes and fresh floral notes, noticeably acidity. Aftertaste with medium length, very pleasant. One to look out for as it shouldnt be too expensive, once you find it. Reminds me a lot of the Graham85, which gets better every minute with air. 18
